The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is inviting you to weigh in on the future of Bighorn Sheep in the state. Tomorrow, Oct. 10, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., CDFW will host a virtual public information session to discuss their draft Conservation and Management Plan for these iconic animals.
This is a chance for you to get involved and help shape how Bighorn Sheep are protected and managed in the state. During the session, CDFW staff will give an overview of the plan, followed by an open Q&A where you can ask questions or share your thoughts.
The draft plan is available for review until Oct. 21, and CDFW is encouraging everyone to submit feedback—whether it’s through an online form, email, or regular mail.
To check out the plan or submit your comments, you can visit the CDFW’s Bighorn Sheep Conservation and Management Plan. webpage
