Feather River College announces that the environmental studies and outdoor recreation leadership programs invite prospective students to attend Recruitment Adventure Days May 2 through 4. Participants can earn a unit of college credit and enjoy FRC’s unique offerings through a weekend of rock climbing, whitewater rafting, prescribed burning, discussions with current students and faculty, and camping under the stars.
This event is free and inclusive; no experience in the outdoors is needed. All participants need to do is get to Feather River College in Quincy. FRC provides the rest: food, camping, gear, equipment, experiences, academic advising and the invitation to join a thriving community of students in the outdoor recreation leadership and environmental studies programs.
The event is capped at 50 participants, and all the details, including a detailed itinerary, are available online. There is also an option to attend a single day only.
