It’s a new year to purchase your Rubber Duck ticket for the Great Feather River Race for this Fourth of July. The Chester Rotary is hosting its annual Rubber Duck Race that helps raise funds for Graduating Senior Highschool scholarships.
Thousands of rubber duck tickets will be sold starting at 11 am on the Fourth of July in Chester in front of Sage Creek Insurance. The tickets are $5.00 per racing duck with no purchasing limits.
Due to the extensive weather this year, the Great Feather River has been up in levels, and if the levels are at a non-safety current, the race will be moved to the baseball field pond in Chester Park.
Three lucky ducks will be picked out with a grand prize of first place being $1,000, Second place is $500, and third place taking in $250.00.
