The Susanville Fire Department will hold its annual September 11th Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11, 2026, marking the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks. The event will begin at 7:05 AM at the Susanville Fire Department, located at 1505 Main Street.
The annual gathering serves as a time for the local community to reflect, remember, and pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 lives lost, as well as the civilians, first responders, veterans, and public safety personnel who demonstrated selfless courage on 9/11 and in the years following.
