High Speed Chase Exceeds 100MPH on US395, Ends in Arrest

Reckless driver leads Quincy CHP officers on a high-speed chase, nearly causing a head-on collision.

Officer Tanguay noticed a Ford Fusion driving over 100 miles per hour on 395 South of SR70 and immediately responded. The Ford came to a stop sign at the intersection but then proceeded to speed away from Officer Tanguay, reaching a speed of 115. The vehicle passed double lines and other vehicles and almost caused a head-on collision with oncoming traffic for the next 41 miles. Another CHP officer was ahead of the reckless driver and was able to lay a spike strip to stop the vehicle at Old Cromberg Road.

Officers arrested the driver Sarah Crystal Lombardi of Nevada.
