Calfire LMU and Eagle Lake RD are responding to a vegetation fire in the Hog Flat area just off of Highway 44.
The fire was first reported by passing drivers just after 11 am, Thursday, August 29th.
As of 11:30 per radio traffic forward progress has been stopped at a 30 x 50 spot. Responding crews have hose around the perimeter.
The LMU is managing the incident, there is no cause of the fire at this time we will have more information as it becomes available.
