The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office are partnering again for the 23rd annual prescription drug take-back day.
The event is a national effort to combat the opioid crisis and keep communities safe. The DEA and its national and community partners hold biannual Take Back Days aimed at providing a safe, convenient, and ecologically responsible method of prescription medication disposal while also focusing on prevention and education.
If you have prescription drugs to dispose of, you can drop them off at the Lassen County sheriff’s Office front lobby on October 29th from 10 am to 2 pm.
All drop-offs remain anonymous. No questions or requests for identification will be made.
