The Chester Public Utility District is aiming to give some transparency to the agency and educate potential new board members in a special public workshop this Thursday. CPUD has received a lot of disapproval from the community that came forth during the Chester Fire debacle from several weeks ago and In efforts to answer questions on the operations of the agency the district will be answering questions such as: How was CPUD formed and what does it do? How is CPUD governed? How is it managed on a daily basis? How is CPUD funded and what does it spend its money on? You find the answers by attending the meeting held this Thursday at 5:30 at the Conference room on Chester Airport Road.
