Approaching midnight on May 10th, 2026, Sergeant Cody Widby of the Alturas Police Department conducted an investigation at the Meadows Apartments resulting in the arrest of Marques Ramon Holman, 50, of Alturas, CА.
During the course of his investigation, Sergeant Widby located approximately one pound of suspected methamphetamine in Holman’s possession. In addition to this substantial amount of methamphetamine, Holman was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and materials commonly associated with the packaging and distribution of controlled substances for sale. The investigation also revealed that Holman was subject to active judicial oversight and was required to adhere to the terms of his Conditional Release and Pretrial Supervision through the
Modoc Superior Court. Holman was subsequently placed under arrest and booked into the Modoc County Jail without incident on multiple narcotics-related charges to include Health and Safety Code § 11378, possession of a controlled substance for sale, and Health and Safety Code § 11364(a), possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts Penal Code § 166(a)(4), contempt of a court order.
