BLM Fire crews from our Applegate Field Office in Alturas are making good progress on fall, winter and spring #prescribedfire projects like this one in an area of Lassen County called Upper Tuledad, east of the small community of Madeline. Teams have been burning piles of limbs and small juniper trees on almost 140 acres to improve habitat for wildlife and to reduce hazardous fuels that could contribute to wildfires.
