Ongoing delays through the canyon
Caltrans is reminding travelers on SR-70 through the Feather River Canyon that although the route is open in Butte & Plumas counties, you need to continue to give yourself extra travel time due to ongoing work.
You will encounter multiple areas where 1-way traffic controls are in place. Work in these areas includes construction, emergency & utility work, at 4 locations between Cresta & the Greenville Wye.
