Susanville City Council cancels its first meeting for September and holds a special meeting today at 9 am. The Council will look to move the airport commission meetings from 3 pm to 4 pm and contracting work to spruce up the fields at Frank Ernaga Baseball Field. The Council will also, along with the Lassen and Plumas County Supervisors, look to join the Golden State Connect Authority in broadband network funding to implement cost estimates, planning, and design of infrastructure projects to bring internet services to the regions most underserved. The Council has until the end of the month to join and apply for the half a million dollars that the GSCA will help implement. The Council meets at city hall at 9 am. The next city council meeting is on September 21st.
