Plumas County Sheriff traffic stop arrests one Cottonwood man and recovers drugs and a firearm. A sheriff deputy arrested 36 year old Jayce Coulter after stopping him on Main Street for a traffic infraction where the deputy learned he was driving with a suspended license. During a search of the vehicle deputies found a concealed handgun with the serial number partially removed, along with near a half pound of meth packaged for sale, cocaine, and a scale. Deputies also learned Coulter is a convicted felon prohibited from carrying a firearm. Coulter also had three warrants out for his arrest in Shasta County. He has been booked into the Plumas County Correctional Center with a bail set for 35,000 dollars. The Plumas District Attorney’s office will be reviewing the case
