Lassen National Forest is excited to announce that Canyon Dam Boat Ramp is now open!
After extensive hazard trees removal and sediment removal by fire crews the site is now safe for the public to use.
With Lake Almanor having a very low water level, one lane of the boat ramp remains closed. Use caution when launching, as the boat ramp pavement ends abruptly. The end of the pavement is marked by a brown marker in the water.
Future temporary closures may occur for additional tree removal and planned dock repairs.
