The Greenville Landscaping project has reached a successful conclusion and Caltrans is inviting the community to a ribbon-cutting ceremony that will complement the town’s Oktoberfest Festival.

Caltrans and local partners have worked over the summer months to restore infrastructure in the rural community after the devastation of the Dixie Fire two years ago, which left the town in rubble and ash. Caltrans signifies this project as a major milestone for the community. Newly installed irrigation and landscaping along State Route 89 has breathed new life back into downtown Greenville as many continue to rebuild following the destruction.

This project was possible with funding from the Clean California Program.

The ribbon cutting will be held on October 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Pine Street and State Route 89.
