Starting at 8:30 the CalFIRE Lassen Modoc – Unit will be conducting a Wildland Preparedness Drill just North of Bieber in the area of Crank Springs. You will see CAL FIRE resources including 3 Engines, 1 Crew, 1 Water Tender, and 1 Helicopter. Again there is no threat of fire danger, this is only a preparedness drill.
