 Gusty winds. Timing: 10 PM Monday, Jan 6 - 7 AM Wednesday Jan 8, 2025. A map shows the area of a wind advisory for portions of the Sierra and portions of the western Sacramento Valley and Delta. Forecast:  Mountains -Northeast to east winds 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 40 to 55 mph, locally up to 65 to 75 mph along the higher peaks of the Sierra. West Sac Valley Delta: North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 35 to 45 mph expected. Precautions: Loose objects may blow around. Difficult driving conditions. Downed tree branches & weakened trees. Power outages possible.
