Lassen County Administrator Richard Egan announced his plans to retire during Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting.
In a letter to the board, Egan expressed his gratitude for the past 30 years, calling it a “career-long privilege and honor to be part of the Lassen County team.” He thanked the board, staff, and county constituents for their trust in his leadership, emphasizing the opportunity he had to work with and serve “some of the finest people in the world” in a community he will “always call home.”
The board will have ample time to consider a replacement, with Egan’s final day as county administrator set for December 27th.
