BLM Eagle Lake Field Office Seeks Input on OHV Grant funds

If you enjoy the off road trails on your side by sides or ATV’s you have an opportunity to contribute your thoughts on off highway vehicle recreation in the area. The Bureau of Land Management is looking to hear from you on how you would like to see grant money spent on OHV management needs and projects for OHV public lands. The Eagle Lake field office has thoughts to use funds to support law enforcement and on the ground management for the fort sage and rice canyon OHV areas. Money that has been collected from gas tax, entrance fees, and sticker registrations fund the 35 million dollars that are spent annually by the state for off highway vehicle recreation. If you have a thought on how to use those grant funds your comments need to be submitted by February 14th. You can email those to or mail to Marisa Williams at the BLM Eagle Lake Field Office. The Eagle Lake field office will be submitting their grant request by March 7th.
