2300 acres of Bureau of Land Management lands that were burned in the Beckwourth Fire have been reseeded. The Eagle Lake Field office flew a plane above Doyle in the foothills where the terrain is rough and inaccessible. The plane dropped more than 9 tons of bitterbrush and native grass seed. The area makes up more than half of the BLM managed lands that were impacted by the fire. BLM crews will move next to plant seedlings of Lassen county bitterbrush between Susanville and Sierra County.
