In the coming week, you can help share your thoughts on an over 160,000-acre forest restoration project in the Plumas National Forest. In collaboration with the Sierra Insitute and Forest Service, the second of three public meetings will be held to gather your input on the North Fork Forest Recovery project that aims to bring back the forest lands surrounding the many communities impacted by the Dixie Fire.
On July 13th the areas of Greenville and Crescent Mills will be addressed at the Greenville Elementary School from 5:30 to 7 pm.
A third meeting will focus on the communities of Indian Falls, Seneca, Belden, Twain, Paxton, and Canyon Dam on July 19th at the elementary school in Greenville from 5:30 to 7 pm.
You are highly encouraged to attend to learn and ask questions about the project. More information can be found by calling 284-1022.
