Over 1100 acres near Lake Antelope were successfully treated with burn operations by the Mt. Hough Ranger District. The operations were a part of the moonlight burn scar reforestation efforts. The burn operation area will continued to be monitored over the next week. You can expect to see more smoky conditions just west of Graeagle at the forest service plans to burn near some homes in the area with the goal of burning 10 acres over the next several days. Morning hours and evening hours will see the most smoke impacts.
