Seneca hospital in Chester moves into the next phase of the New Build Project. November’s passage of Bond Measure B, authorizing the district to issue $42 million in bonds to fund the hospital, and levy a tax of $80 per $100,000 of lake Almanor homes assessed value to pay off the bonds helped in this progress. This next step underway is the “validation phase.” which will be followed by a timber harvest plan, a groundbreaking early this summer, and if construction goes smoothly, a Grand Opening in 2025. You can tour the facility by visiting Seneca Hospital’s website.
