The City of Portola has named the city’s mayor during its final council meeting of 2022. Tom Cooley sits as Mayor, and Bill Powers as Mayor Pro Tem who retained his seat in the General Election. Leah Turner has taken a seat on the council, with her term ending in 2026, as the newest council member, joining Pat Morton and Stan Peiler, whose terms will be up for election next year.
