Plumas Unified School District will move to begin streaming board meetings. This week the joint session of the Plumas Office of Education and the district will return to community meetings, previously held by Zoom, starting in Chester and also streaming on a YouTube channel. Items on the agenda include Universal PreKindergarten (UPK)Planning and Implementation Grant funding that would include $100,000 for the district and $50,000 for the Charter School, passing this year’s budget, as well as discussing contracts and bid awards for Measure B projects that include fencing, irrigation and sod of the athletic fields at the Quincy High school, and upgrades to Chester Elementary. The meeting will be held today at 4 pm. You can attend in person at Chester High School or virtually by searching for the office of ed and school district YouTube channel.
