The CCC Stakeholders and Susanville Soroptomist International have donated 13,058 dollars towards the attorney fees in the City’s Case against CDCR and the State. The check was presented to the city council during last evenings meeting. Lindsey Martin, a member of the stakeholders committee offered her thanks to the council for continuing the fight, complimented the City’s Attorney’s dedicated work of taking on the large conglomerate that is the state and CDCR in this case. Martin in closing said about the donation, “there will be more, we are not done yet.” The council offered many thanks and appreciation for the organizations efforts to help with the costs.
