Spring break is getting a rough start with some non-spring-like weather. A winter weather advisory has been put in place for today through 8pm with up to 3 inches of snow expected for eastern Lassen County along 395, 2 to 6 inches for western Lassen, Plumas, and Sierra Counties. Higher amounts can be expected over the Sierra passes. Winds can gust as high as 50 mph. A wind advisory was put in place for 395 at 10pm last night. High profile vehicles are not reccommended for travel. As of 9am the advisory is still in place. Plan on a slippery commute.
