In the fight for the California Correctional Center to remain open, a court hearing today will determine the Special Masters of court as directed by traveling judge Robert Moody in the latest court date. Judge moody determined that the whole of California is watching this case and in efforts to not let CDCR steamroll over this rural city, designated the need for a special master. This is an outside attorney that will help both parties handle the exchange of papers and can help settle some or all of the issues in the case, as well as make recommendations to the judge as to the disposition of a matter. The hearing will begin at 10am, today March 14th, 2022, at the Lassen Superior Courthouse on Riverside Drive.
