LNF Burn Operation at Alamanor Boat Launch

The Lassen National Forest is helping you access the Almanor Boat launch with ease and safely. The Almanor Ranger District will be burning over the next few days at the Boat Launch. The crews will be burning timber from the Dixie Fire as well as falling dead trees and burning the tops and limbs. The area was heavily impacted during the fire and with summer right around the corner the popular site was in need of the clean-up effort. Expect to see smoke impacts throughout the area heading into this weekend.
