The Sierra County Board of Supervisors continues to hold their meeting remotely through teleconference today. The board will hear updates from the usual departments heads, forest management, and the COVID 19 public health emergency. The planning and building department will seek approval of a funding agreement with the state department of housing and community development for the Local early action planning grant that was awarded to Sierra county, and the public hearing on the Baarasma nuisance proceedings will continue to determine the existence of a nuisance in violation of sierra county code for Painter Eden Kyler Baarsma on Main street in Sierraville. The meeting will start at 9 am and you can attend or view the recording by visiting sierracounty.ca.gov
