Lassen County Sheriff issued the following statement –

Due to an outage from Frontier, there may be problems with phones and internet throughout the day. Due to the amount of damage, it is not going to be an easy fix and they are anticipating a lengthy outage.
Our 911 calls continue to be dispatched through Plumas County dispatchers and our non-emergency phone lines are currently working.
As of 10/15/2026 at 9:30 pm our 911 lines are down and being routed through Plumas County dispatch. You may also call the Lassen County Dispatch non emergency line at 530-257-6121.
