World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated the first week of August around the world…
In honor of this, Northeastern Rural Health and the WIC program will be hosting a World Breastfeeding Week event on Friday August 7th from 10:30-12:30 at Memorial Park in Susanville. There will be opportunities to connect with local resources, refreshments, giveaways, kid-friendly activities, and information on pregnancy, birth, postpartum, lactation, and parenting. There will also be a dedication area for any parent who has experienced a loss. Please plan to join us for this fun family event in the park. Everyone is welcome to attend.
