Please join us in welcoming our new Communications Supervisor, Jeanette Childress!
Jeanette brings more than three decades of public safety and emergency communications experience to our team. Her career began with Plumas County in 1992 as a dispatcher and Communications Training Officer (CTO). She later served as a correctional officer while continuing to support dispatch as a reserve dispatcher.
Throughout her distinguished career, Jeanette has held positions with Colusa County, Lassen County, Sierra Army Depot, and the U.S. Navy, serving as an Emergency Response Dispatcher both stateside and overseas.
We are thrilled to welcome Jeanette back home to Plumas County and look forward to the leadership, knowledge, and experience she brings to our dispatch team!
