Plumas Unified School District Ends 2025-2026 School Year with Graduations

Students and staff in Plumas Unified School District are finishing the 2025-2026 school year and getting ready for summer break.

The district will release all students early on June 10, 11, and 12. Each school will inform families about their specific release times. The last day of school is June 12.

Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2026 will take place on June 12.

Portola Junior-Senior High School will hold its graduation at 5 p.m. at the Bob Wise Memorial Football Stadium. Accessible parking is available by calling the school in advance. Seating is open to everyone.

Quincy Junior-Senior High School’s ceremony starts at 6 p.m. at the Feather River College football stadium. Parking is at the gymnasium or baseball field lots. Seating on the field is for guests of graduates only; other attendees can use the grandstands.

Chester Junior-Senior High School’s graduation will be at 7 p.m. on the Chester High football field.

Promotion ceremonies for sixth graders are scheduled for June 11.

C. Roy Carmichael Elementary will hold its promotion at 5:30 p.m.

Quincy Elementary will promote sixth graders at 6 p.m. on the upper terrace. Fifth graders at Quincy Elementary have their promotion ceremony on June 10 at 6 p.m. Sixth grade will move to the Quincy High campus next year.

Greenville Elementary’s sixth grade promotion is at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Chester Elementary will hold its promotion at 6 p.m. in the school gym.
