Firefighters Tackle One Acre Blaze in South Doyle With Community Support

According to Doyle Fire Protection District they responded to a one acre fire which involved  two haystacks  in South Doyle off Highway 395 on June 29th .  Crews are  continuing to work on the fire as of Monday, June 30th.  The fire  started within the hay stack due to spontaneous combustion. We would like to give a big shout out and Thank You for all the help on the Stack Fire, so Thank You, Doyle Fire Protection District Volunteers, Sierra Army Depot Fire Department, Beckwourth Peak Fire Department, Janesville Fire Department, LMU dozer 2241, LMU Crew 3, BLM, USFS, Idaho Engine 2261, and Oregon Engine 465.
