The Lassen Municipal Utility District had ambitious plans for the former Bank of America Building at 50 N. Gay St., but those plans seem to have changed. According to the agenda for LMUD’s special meeting on Thursday, Dec. 19, discussions will include the potential sale of the property, including price and terms. The meeting will also cover various administrative matters such as approval of the agenda, public comments, board members’ reports, approval of the minutes from the Nov. 19 Special Meeting, and several authorizations for the general manager. These authorizations include executing a contract with Electrical Consultants, Inc., submitting a compliance filing to the California Energy Commission, and submitting a letter of intent to purchase two double bucket trucks. Additionally, the appointment of general manager Nick Dominguez as lead negotiator for the property sale is on the agenda, along with rescheduling the February board meeting. The board’s next regular meeting will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
