Feather River Wide Receiver Kyle Valdez from Lehi, Utah went 80 yards for a touchdown on his first rushing attempt of the game versus Butte College on Saturday, November 9th. Two quarters later Valdez scored his second touchdown when he traveled 43 yards after receiving the ball from Michael Kearns III. Valdez finished the afternoon with 123 total yards and two touchdowns on one rushing attempt and one reception. Janerious Jackson from Atlanta, GA once again led all rushers with 194 yards on 18 carries and one touchdown. Sophomore QB Brody Osen completed 9 of 10 passing attempts for 117 yards and one touchdown, while Jeremiah Nash hauled in 4 receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown. Elijah Stafford-McNutt from Auburn, WA finished the afternoon with 8 total tackles, including one for a loss. The Golden Eagles will play next on Saturday, November 16th at American River College – game start time is 1:00 PM.
