Troop 31, the longest-running Boy Scout troop in Chico, is marking its 100th anniversary this month. Established in 1925, Troop 31 is part of a select group, as fewer than one percent of scout troops reach this centennial milestone.
To commemorate this significant achievement, Troop 31 is hosting a celebration on Saturday, February 8th, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 285 E. 5th St. in Chico. The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m., beginning with a social hour from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by dinner, entertainment, and presentations from 6 to 8 p.m.
Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with scout skits, songs, a dessert auction, and presentations that highlight the enduring legacy of Troop 31. This event offers the community a chance to come together and reflect on the troop’s century-long service.
Tickets for the celebration are priced at $20 per person, with a discounted rate of $15 per person available for groups of four or more.
