If you have been waiting to visit the Giant Sequoia National Park you’ll have only two opportunities left this year to go. After being closed off to all visitors for the last three months due to the KNP wildfire, the park will be opening its doors to view the world famous sequoias, including General Sherman, the largest known living single-stem tree on Earth. The park is on a phased re-opening starting at 8am to sunset on designated weekends only. The last remaining times being Next weekend, DEc 17th to Monday the 20th, and starting Christmas weekend, Friday Dec 24th through January 3rd.
