BLM Holds Final Virtual Meeting on Solar Energy Project Expansion

The Bureau of Land Management holds one more virtual session to gather public input on potential changes to its solar energy program.

In total, they will have held 15 in-person and virtual meetings. The BLM is especially interested in comments on solar energy in southern California and Nevada. The virtual session will take place on February 14 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. You must pre-register to attend. The BLM is considering updates to its 2012 Western Solar Plan and expanding it to include five more states. Public comments are open until March 1st.
