Sophomore Center Fielder McKinley Gay from Quincy, CA is the Feather River College Athlete of the Month for April 2026. Gay has just recently been named Golden Valley Conference Most Valuable Player for the 2026 season as well as 1st Team All-State North. Gay has amassed 114 hits and 84 runs scored in two seasons with the Golden Eagles; she also has over 20 stolen bases. McKinley hits in the lead-off spot and is tremendous defensively. Gay, along with her teammates won the Golden Valley Conference Title and will host the 1st Round Northern Regional Play-offs on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd
