49-35 final in Susanville. The Lassen Grizzlies are the NSCIF D3 champions! First Championship in 14 years! Lassen built a 42-19 lead, then held off some late Orland momentum. Dathen Moore broke several tackles while scoring the game-sealing touchdown.
Orland falls just short of a section 3-peat, while Lassen wins its first title since 2010. These two have met up for some great championship clashes this decade!
They will play in the CIF Division 6-A Regional Championship Saturday, December 7th at 6 PM against American Canyon High School out of Napa Valley.
