Lassen County Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Local Area Revitalization Farmer’s market to bring the monthly chamber mixer to Uptown Susanville during the market’s third evening summer market. LARP Seth Andersen and David Teeter say there are a lot more vendors and are expecting large crowds. Today the group is asking the Susanville City Council during their special meeting at 9 a.m. to consider authorizing the closure of South Gay Street from Main St. to Mill St. from noon to 10 p.m. for the evening Farmer’s Market. As Teeter said there is an anticipation of large crowds and increased vendor interest, and the expansion will help to accommodate the need. The market starts opens at 5 pm this Wednesday in Pancera Plaza.
