A water break threatens power lines on Sunday morning, October 2, forcing some homes along Johnstonville Road to a brief outage. Between the JDX KSUE studios and the Super 8 Motel, a geyser of water upwards of 20ft high shot into the air shutting down the roadway. Crews could get the water shut off and repair the break in the line. Power was restored once it was safe to allow the line to be re-energized.
