SHARE NOW

The Forest Fire Lookout Association (FFLA), with the Plumas National Forest, sets out to restore the Argentine Rock Lookout this summer. The goal is to use the lookout as a recreation rental, with the potential to activate it in emergency situations. The Argentine Rock Lookout is located on Grizzly Ridge and went out of service in 1980 after nearly 50 years in service. You can learn more about how you can volunteer to help in the restoration efforts by attending the next meeting of the local chapter of the Forest Fire Lookout Association to be held on March 22nd at the Mineral building in the Plumas County Fairgrounds in Quincy. That meeting will start at 6:00 pm. You can also visit the FFLA’s website for more information. To donate you can give to the go fund me account at Argentine Lookout.
