Time is running out to get your fair entries in at the Plumas Sierra County Fair. The approaching Deadline for Fair Entries is Friday, July 5
Yet Fair Manager John Steffanic says not to worry as the process to enter is straightforward and only requires a few minutes.
If you are interested in participating, you do not need to bring your actual entries to the fairgrounds until the fair itself.
To enter, simply fill out and submit an entry form, which can be obtained from the Fair office or online at www.plumas-sierracountyfair.net. The complete exhibit guide is available on the website.
To enter, follow these steps:
1. Find the appropriate section for your entry in the exhibit guide.
2. Locate the correct division and class for your entry.
3. Complete the form with your contact information and details about your entry.
4. Include the entry fee (most are $2) and submit the form to the fairgrounds.
Various categories present an opportunity for you to show your creativity and take a shot at winning prizes, ribbons, and recognition from the community.
Steffanic emphasizes that through engaging in the fair, you support the fairgrounds and showcase the community’s talents, local skills, and interests, and enriches the annual fair experience for all.
