Reno Tahoe international airport expects 15,000 flyers this holiday, with one of the busiest travel days still to come. The holiday travel started December 23rd and continues through new years day. Airport officials say January 2nd is predicted to see the most passengers pass through.

Officials advise you to arrive at least two hours early, expect delays due to construction zones, and avoid the extra hassle by not wrapping any holiday gifts you may be traveling with. Security will have to unwrap them to inspect them before your flight.

You are encouraged to check with your airline before coming to the airport in case of any delays or cancellations with your flight. You can also check out arrivals and departures and real-time parking availability at http://renoairport.com.
