Caltrans and contractors are working on erosion control from the county line to about 2.5 miles west of the junction. One-way traffic controls are in place 24/7, with work expected to be completed by the end of September.By the end of this week, Caltrans and contractors will also begin drainage improvements along SR 147. Your drive along the West shore of Lake Almanor will up to 10 minutes longer. You will encounter several stops along the from just about 3.5 miles north of the 89 junctions to about 1.5 miles north of the junction with County Road A13. Delays will be during the week during daytime hours. This project is anticipated to be completed by mid-September.Roadwork along Richmond Road in Susanville continues. The road will be reduced down to one lane starting at the intersection with Riverside Dr. You will see a flagger in place, expect delays of up to 15 minutes.Caltrans has completed a $1.36 million project on SR-89 in Sierra County to improve a designated wildlife crossing and install slope protection measures to stabilize the embankment near Dog Valley Rd.
