Congressman Doug LaMalfa, District One representative, has used the House floor more than most other representatives in Congress.
In an independent report from C-Span, LaMalfa spoke on the floor to his colleagues, staff, the bureaucracy, and the public a total of 77 times this 117th session of Congress, ranking him the top three to do so.
Pennsylvania Representative Glenn Thompson and Georgia Representative Buddy Carter beat him for the top 2 spots marginally,
LaMalfa said this year he has been vocal about many issues impacting Northern California, including water rights, improving forest management, and speaking out against the Biden Newsom Administration’s misguided attempts at electric vehicle mandates and funding of the billion-dollar high-speed rail.
This marks the third congressional session LaMalfa has been the most vocal on the House floor, addressing rural county issues.
