Additional streets are set to close for this Wednesday’s evening farmer’s market. The Local Area Revitalization Project Co-op sought support from the City council to close an extended portion of the market at South Gay street from main to Mill during a special meeting of the council yesterday in anticipation of large crowds and additional vendors. The city agreed and will close the section of the street between the hours of noon and 10 pm. The evening market kicks off at 5:30 and ends at 8:30 pm this Wednesday in Uptown.
